This document reports a description of all the files contained in this folder.
They have been used for testing the nRC tool in the manuscript submitted for pubblication at international journal.
All the validation_*.* files have been produced by nRC tool during training process.

- dataset_Rfam_6320_13classes.fasta 
Dataset used for nRC tool training. 
This file contains 6320 labeled ncRCNA sequences beloging to 13 classes.

- dataset_Rfam_validated_2600_13classes.fasta	
Dataset used for nRC tool validation. 
This file contains a balanced dataset of 2600 labeled ncRCNA sequences beloging to 13 classes.

- dataset_Rfam_validated_2400_12classes.fasta	
Dataset used for nRC tool validation and for comparison with RNACon tool. 
This file contains a balanced dataset of 2400 labeled ncRCNA sequences beloging to 12 classes.

- parameters.txt
Parameters used for convolutional neural network (CNN) learning process.

- validation_6_4.nel
Feature model produced by the MoSS algorithm.
This file contains sub-structural features as graphs identified in NEL format.

- validation_6_4.pkl
Classification model produced by the CNN algorithm implemented in Theano framework.

- validation_6_4_code.txt
List of numerical codes associated to trained used ncRNA classes.
This file is used in vlidation process.
